Food was good with great presentation. The place is elegant , and our server Agnes was very nice. Good wine and drink, and pleasant ambience. I had breaded chicken liver for the first time and really liked it.

This place is great, yes I know it's at an hotel but the food is oh my god awesome. Fresh, all your favourites with a little bit more added for a great price. Please bypass all the rubbish on this road and come dine here. Quality!

Came across this place based on Yelp reviews. Overlooked it often because it's a hotel restaurant but the food is really good. They have some of the best buffalo wings I've ever had. The Calamari is delicious, the crab cakes are full of crab and not just filler. The flat iron steak is very flavorful and a dish that won't disappoint. Not the most tender cut but cooked nicely. The burger is GREAT!!! The real hidden gem of this place is not food but it's the martini. I've never been a fan of martinis but they are excellent here. The service is good but can be slow.

Stayed here two nights on business. Dinner first night were the scallops with fennel risotto! Extremely delicious! The wine and drinks have decent selections. Typical hotel prices but the quality is good! Second night had the fish and chips and the fish better is tempura style doc think and fluffy! Again delicious! Compliments to the chef with some creative dishes on the menu!

Great place for lunch. I was "stuck" in the hotel because of snow and didn't want to go out so I thought I'd just get some soup at the hotel restaurant. Boy was I surprise. It was a great place with so much variety. I was very happy.

The food and service are excellent. The food presentation is outstanding. In fact, I took a picture of my salad and I normally do not engage in that activity. The steaks, ribs, and chops are very good and prepared to perfection. Joe, the bartender, is attentive, professional, and engaging.

Food and drinks were excellent as well as the service from our very attentive server. We had a very good dinner which started off with a very artistic salad. Steak was as good as you can get. I appreciated the side of broccolini(not a dish served very often). There is effort put into the food and that makes for an enjoyable experience.

Very nice restaurant and one of the best in the neighborhood. The food is good and the portions are very large. Service is good. This would be a good place for a business lunch or dinner.

Nice neighborhood restaurant in the Hilton hotel.. Try it if you're visiting and don't feel like going downtown...They have live entertainment too...

I've stopped in here every few years for the past quarter century. It's always been a classy place. It could use a remodeling and some sprucing up. Hence four stars and not five.

Ate and drank at this little gem over the weekend. The service is very casual (attentive but not in your face). The bar gets a few regulars that provide great people watching. After a few drinks we moved to a table in the restaurant. I wasn't sure what to expect but they "wowed" me at every turn. We started with the $25 antipasto tasting board and then ordered our entree's. I had the diver scallops which came with risotto; it was beyond amazing!! My fiance had the flat iron steak, it was also really good cooked and seasoned to perfection. We ended out meal with cheesecake wontons with lemon sour cream dipping sauce. I left a very happy girl. Great meal on the south side!!

This is a cafe in the Hilton at oak lawn hotel. It was convenient for us to go here for breakfast but it was definitely overpriced that we ended up just going to Denny's the next few days, which was just down the street. We ordered the three egg omelette with ham, mozzarella and tomato ($12.50)... the portion and taste was good. It also came with potatoes and ordered the fresh fruit bowl, which the waitress let me pick my own fruit at the buffet breakfast. We also ordered the steak and eggs meal ($16). A little over cooked, dry and needed seasoning. Aside from convenience, we would not come back or eat here again. It wasn't busy at all, but they still took forever to seat us, take our order and bring our check.

With a location set inside the Hilton, a grand show kitchen and extra effort in the presentation of the food, I can see how this is one of the "fancier" establishments in Oak Lawn. (Although there was some sort of issue with the A/C the day we visited because it was not as cool as it should have been in the dining room, and the server admitted to it being hot.) For appetizers, we had the shrimp cocktail and crab cakes. Sauce for the cocktail was freshly made and the shrimp were huge. Crab cakes were tender and flaky in texture, but very small and had a bland chipotle mayo on top. The garden salad actually had a gorgeous yet purposeful presentation with the red onion, tomato, cucumber and carrots chopped finely on top of a bed of fresh mixed greens and micro-greens. The cucumber was thinly sliced and wrapped around the whole salad. On the other hand, my friend's Caesar was a bit cumbersome as one whole chunk of romaine leaf sitting on the plate, rather than already sliced and tossed into edible pieces. For entrees, everyone in our group ordered some form of steak - Chicago strip, rib eye, filet Mignon. The servers were helpful and took the time to inform us on how to order each type so that they would taste the best. My Chicago strip was juicy and the herb butter on top made it even better. Although, I felt bad that my friend's rib eye came out a bit tough. (FYI-The chef redid it, and it turned out perfect the second time around.) I liked the use of broccolini over the traditional broccoli, and I appreciated the range of potato options (including sweet potato!). However, the parmigiano-reggiano tomato was a little greasy and a bit unnecessary on the plate. In the end, we shared one extremely decadent chocolate dessert of my husband's choice, the flourless chocolate cake. This is definitely a dessert to split for how incredibly rich it is. The texture was more of a cheesecake in the end - highly addictive.

It was my first time dining here and i honestly didnt come here with the best expectations, but i was very surprised. I ordered the salmon which came with a salad, and my husband ordered some cut of steak. We also had an appetizer as well. Everything tasted really good and fresh. The only negative thing i have to say is that they were running special menu and we asked the waiter what one of the items was (i think it was in french or italian) and he had no clue.

Been here a handful of times and can honestly say, I HAVE NEVER been disappointed! The food is absolutely wonderful, the portions are good for the price but the wine list is beyond great! They have remodeled and it seems that they took this place to another level; I absolutely think that they are on the right track since the remodel. They have this one shrimp (GIGANTIC) in a kind of molasses that is beyond any shrimp I have ever had. The staff there really knows how to serve as well as be courteous and I am really impressed that they know the wine list the way they do. That is a big plus in my book. Definitely worth a try if you are in the mood for a bit more upscale neighborhood place. And its inside the Hilton of Oak Lawn, who'd of guessed?

The place feels fancy - the atmosphere is nice. Went for lunch. I loved the bread service. Portobello burger was bland, my husband's fettuccine was delish. Side salad was yummy. Overall not bad and a cute little gem in a crappy part of town.
